Things were quiet at Legacy House this week. The current lockdown has kept many in need of healing at home. So instead, we prayed for Covid to be eradicated.
This is what God showed me as we prayed. Corona virus Covid 19 is a device of the enemy that feeds on fear, suspicion and hatred. The devil has very effectively used it to make us turn on another and increase the very things it feeds on. I’m not saying this sickness isn’t real. But I’m saying it’s origin is from the pit. Of course it’s real but we’ve empowered it to disproportionate effect because of the very things we (the children of God) have released into the atmosphere.
We must take this spiritual battle seriously just as in the physical. I think the precautions being urged also apply in the spirit. First, wear masks (guard what you take in and what you release)! Watch your words and what you receive from others. Filter all fear out of what you say and what you partner with.
Second, social distance (use discernment as to whom you allow in your inner circle). Ask God for wisdom in this and do not rely on suspicion (that feeds the virus).
Third, keep your hands clean! This is pretty obvious in the spirit. Hatred is as murder. Don’t allow judgmentalism and self righteousness to masquerade as holiness. Love is the only way to advance. Using these precautions should disempower this device and advance God’s s kingdom.
